Where Are Holder And The Rest Of Obama's DoJ Brownshirts?
First, noted 'film director' and racial pot stirrer Spike Lee has taken upon himself the sacred duty to publicly out the address of George Zimmerman, to facilitate demonstrations and attacks on the man's home and his family. Lee has done this via twitter. Unfortunately, he tweeted the wrong address. After it was pointed out as incorrect, he tweeted it again - the same incorrect address. The poor elderly couple who lived at the address he outed have been forced form their home and are living in hiding at an undisclosed hotel.
The couple should sue Lee for everything he has for doing this.
Lee should be brought up on hate crime charges, no matter if the address was correct or not, because he was facilitating a racially motivated attack on a private citizen.
Second, the head of the New Black Panthers publicly stated he was offering a $10,000 bounty for George Zimmerman. I haven't seen the text of the offer, but I am pretty sure he wasn't offering the money to have Mr. Zimmerman join him for a cup of coffee to discuss the situation. A private citizen offering a bounty on another private citizen is equal to offering a murder for hire contract. This man should immediately be arrested and charged as such. Has not happened.
The man was arrested, but for an old illegal weapons charge, which he has since been bailed out on.
Not only has Obama's DoJ not acted on either of these heinous acts, we haven't heard so much as a peep of condemnation from Eric Holder, DoJ spokespersons, or even His Highenss himself on these hate crimes or their perpetrators.

More Eric Holder Insanity

Eric Holder, the most incompetent political hack Attorney General in American history, has stuck it to the American people again, at the behest of his boss.
Meet Tony West. Mr. West is Holder's selection to fill the number 3 position at the DoJ. This position is currently tasked with crafting policy regarding the terrorist prisoners held at Gitmo.
Mr. West is best known for his defense of convicted terrorist John Walker Lindh. You may remember Mr. Lindh, a Gitmo detainee, an American captured in Afghanistan while fighting with the Taliban against American troops. Mr. Lindh, who is now serving a 20 year sentence.
Now, Mr. Lindh was entitled to a defense attorney during his trial, even in a military tribunal. However, that shouldn't enhance the attorney's resume for a top level policy position within the DoJ, particularly one overseeing Gitmo. This is particularly true considering Mr. West continued promoting Mr. Lindh after the trial, stating in public that Mr. Lindh had a lot to offer society after his release.
The firm that West worked for at the time also defended two other terrorists housed at Gitmo.
Mr. West is clearly not qualified to serve in any top position at DoJ, due to this incredible conflict of interest.
West was a finance co-chair for Obama's campaign in the 2008 election.

Obama's DoJ In A Quandry
One of Obama's campaign promises, made specifically to galvanize support of the gay and lesbian communities, was the abolishment of "Don't ask, Don't tell".
The lawsuit which prompted Judge Phillips' ruling and injunction was brought by a gay Republican organization "Log Cabin Republicans", against the US Government. Representing the US Government was Obama's DoJ lawyer team.
The Judge's ruling and injunction have been denounced by military leadership. The abolishment of "Don't ask, Don't tell" is a touchy subject in the military, and there are very valid concerns over what abolishment will do to the services and its members. Studies are underway to examine the issue and determine what the likely effects will be. Obama himself has signed on to the studies, publicly saying that we have to be careful when addressing this. He has not backed off his desire to get rid of the policy, he's just making what appears to be a sensible approach to it. (This sensible approach has pissed off his gay and lesbian supporters, who feel like repeal of the policy should have been immediate, consequences be damned.)
Obama's DoJ, and Obama himself since he directs their efforts, are in a hell of a sticky position on this. Obama wants to get rid of the policy. The lawsuit and the Judge's rulings put his DoJ in the position of deciding whether to appeal the Judge's decision, to block her injunction and keep "Don't ask, Don't tell" in force for the time being.
One has to wonder if the DoJ will fight the ruling, to give the studies the time Obama promised to give them, or if they will quietly back off and let the injunction stand - which will in effect deliver to gays and lesbians what Obama promised them. Quite the dilemma for Mr. Obama.
I hope the DoJ plays straight with this one, and fights the injunction - but I think they'll roll over, play dead, and let it stand - and then Obama can blame the court for the chaos which will follow.
As a sidebar, I have to wonder this... Setting aside any personal feelings I have about the base issue, I am concerned over how this sets a precedent for the courts to stick their noses into the military world and tell our armed services what they can and can't do. Congress and the President have control over the military (Congress through funding, the President through his capacity as Commander-In-Chief). The Judicial branch really has nothing to do with military opeations or policy. Allowing a lower level Federal Judge to issue an injunction that invalidates a standing military policy sets an incredible precedent. Where are the limits to this? What is to stop the left wing loonies on the 9th District Court from issuing an injunction against the military forbidding operations in Afghanistan? All they would need is some kook to file an applicable lawsuit to give them a vehicle to issue such an order. If you think this is a wild impossibility, just look at the lunacy that is going on in our government right now and you will realize that the far left thinks they can do anything they want to at this point in time.
Update - almost before I could get the above post done, the DoJ actually urged Judge Phillips to stay her ruling, to leave "Don't ask, Don't tell" in place for now. Their arguments were not based upon whether the policy was right or wrong, but to avoid the confusion and disruption that would occur in the military if the policy was halted with no plan for implementation.
Obama once again stated his goal to have the policy rescinded, but that he wanted it done according to the studies underway and in controlled fashion.
I applaud Obama and his DoJ for apparently playing this straight up. If he and the far left, and the gay and lesbian communities want the policy gone, there is a proper path to accomplish that, and Obama is trying to follow it. He may secretly wish that the Judge is successful, and take the matter off his hands, but as C-in-C he is supposed to do it the right way. Publicly, at least, he is doing that, and I have to recognize the correctness of his approach.
Damn ... it hurts me to say that ...

Obama's Brownshirts - Eric Holder and the DoJ
Judge Royce Lamberth, of the US District Court for theDistrict of Columbia, issued a temporary injunction against federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. The injunction was granted to halt distribution of federal funding for this research until a lawsuit has been settled. The suit was brought by researchers who use adult stem cells for their research, saying that Federal funding for embryonic research only hurts their business and ability to conduct research. The injunction is not based on, nor does it comment on, the ethical arguments involved in embryonic stem cell research.
Obama's DoJ immediately jumped up and stated it was filing suit to block the injunction.
Now, the Department of Justice is there to investigate and prosecute violations of the law - right?
What the hell business does the DoJ have filing suit against a court ruling that has absolutely nothing to do with the law, or breaking of the law? The answer is NONE - it has no business and no reason to be involved in this, much less filing a lawsuit and spending taxpayer dollars pursuing it. This has nothing to do with the merits of the injunction or the lawsuit that triggered it - it has to do with whether the DoJ has way overstepped its bounds.
This is a blatant use of the DoJ to push a political agenda. Embryonic stem cell research and its federal funding is a favorite cause of the political left. There is no legal issue for the DoJ to be involved in here. No legitimate reason at all for them to be involved. They are operating as Obama's political police force - being used to force political agendas upon us.
So far, I have seen no comment from anyone at DoJ explaining why they are involved in this.

Obama's DoJ AWOL Again - Part II
Meet self named King Shamir Shabazz. This is the leader of the New Black Panthers in Philadelphia. This is the man who was caught on camera trying to intimidate white voters during the 2008 election. This is the man Eric Holder decided not to prosecute for the intimidation, when the case was a slam dunk guilty verdict. This is the man who continues to spit out the most vile racist hatred you've ever heard.
If this man were white ... and if he was spitting out this vile hate speech over and over ... and if he was trying to incite violence based soley upon race ... Obama, Holder, the Congressional Black Caucus, and every other Democrat worth his title would be front and center on TV demanding his arrest, conviction, and immediate incarceration. Obama himself would be leading the charge - as he has done so in the past. But Shabazz is black, and we hear nothing ....
So, why is King Shabazz still walking the streets? Why isn't he in a Federal Pen serving time for voter intimidation? Why aren't Obama and Holder publicly, loudly denouncing him? Why isn't he in court facing charges of hate speech, and inciting violence?
You know the answer ... people spitting out this hate are being encouraged by the Obama Administration's refusal to denounce and/or prosecute them. By his inaction, Obama is endorsing their statements - whether he wants to or not. Now, to be clear - I don't expect Barack Obama to say these things - but I do expect the President of the United States and his Department of Justice to prosecute clear violations of the law, no matter what the race of the offender.
There are people out there, unfortunately, of all races and religions who are just as vile, just as evil as Shabazz. They should all be treated equally. No one should be allowed to do this. Federal Laws prohibit this. I don't care if you are white, black, purple, green, whatever ... The fact that he has apparently got a pass because of his skin color is just as heinous an example of racism as the man's speech itself.

Obama's DoJ Sucks Up to Terrorists
Mohammed and his terrorist buddies admitted last year to what they did, and asked to be executed - they wanted to become martyrs, and we should have accomodated them.
Instead, Obama is going to give them a platform to attack the United States - exactly what Obama and the far left want to happen.
Consider these items ....
Holder will judge shop, finding the most liberal, anti-Bush jurist they can get to sit on the bench.
So many socialist, anti-US ACLU lawyers will be lining up trying to get the defense assignment that the ACLU will probably have to hold a lottery to see who 'wins'. Can you imagine the joy one of these asshole attorneys will feel, given the fame and platform to attack what they hate so much? They're not going to care about the defendants - their goal will be to prosecute the goverment, specifically the military, CIA, and everyone in the Bush Administration.
The trial won't start for years. Instead of sitting in Gitmo, where they have been successfully incarcerated for years, they will be in a Federal Prison in New York, costing us a ton of money and creating a large security risk.
The trial is likely to last for a year or more - all of which will be paid for by us.
The defense laywers will use every mechanism allowed by the liberal sitting judge to attack the government's case. You can bet they will file motion after motion for dismissal due to legal technicalities. They will drag this out, try to expose every bit of US intelligence gathering assetts, and use every possible chance to 'put on trial' Bush Administration officials. You can bet they will try to call Bush and Cheney both to the stand. You can bet they will do everything they can to expose classified information and methods. You can bet they will do everything to portray the defendants as victims, whose strike against us was justified.
This will be a landmark event, defining perhaps forever how combatants captured on the battlefield while fighting our military are treated, if they aren't flying a specific country's flag. Despite the fact they were armed combatants, Democrat insistance on treating them as petty criminals will create a lot of confusion as to what rules are to be applied. Troops don't stop and read Miranda rights to people shooting at them before they shoot back or capture them. Count on the defense trying to get acquittals based on them not having been read their rights immediately after being captured.
The defendants will use the trial as an opportunity to spit their vile hatred of our country out in public. They've been muzzled while at Gitmo - now they will be free to shout out to the world how evil we are.
This trial will establish legally that people who take up arms against our country have protected Constitutional rights. Think of that - people who are fighting our country, killing and wounding our soldiers, will have the same legal rights as our citizens. Think of what it will do to our military, if they are attacked by our own government for fighting for our country.
Make no mistake folks ... This is not about justice. It is not about trying these bastards. It is all about attacking the United States and what it stands for. It is about putting the Bush Administration on trial for its efforts to defend us after 9/11. It is about Obama's reach out to the world, trying to snuggle up to our enemies. It is a key component of Obama's left wing koolaid drinker's attempt to change our country forever.
